Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ShubhTime

What is Choghadiya and how does it work?

Choghadiya is an ancient Vedic time division system that identifies auspicious and inauspicious periods throughout the day. Each day is divided into 16 periods (8 day, 8 night) based on planetary positions and sunrise/sunset times. ShubhTime calculates these precisely for your location.

How accurate are the timings?

Very accurate! We use astronomical APIs and NOAA algorithms to calculate exact sunrise and sunset times for your specific coordinates, ensuring Choghadiya periods are calculated to the minute.

What is ShubhAI?

What is Rashi and do I need it?

Rashi is your moon sign in Vedic astrology. While not required, setting your Rashi allows ShubhAI to provide more personalized astrological insights. You can select it from the header.

Yes! Click the date picker in the header to select any date and view its Choghadiya windows.

Which Choghadiya types are most auspicious?
